How to Use SFTP with WinSCP

Steps

First of all, it's required to have an SFTP Client, for this guide we'll be using WinSCP, so install that.

For the next step after installing WinSCP, we'll head back to the Server Panel.

In the FILES page you'll see the connect button in the top right (colored in cyan/aqua).

By clicking on it, a dropdown menu will appear. Two options will appear:

• Via SFTP
• Via VS Code

For this guide, you'll click on via SFTP.

After doing that, the details required to enstablish the connection will be displayed in a popup.

Click on Launch and a popup from the browser will appear, which will ask you to Open WinSCP, etc...

After clicking open, WinSCP will automatically launch with all the details filled in (minus the password of course). Make sure to have WinSCP installed! (As mentioned at the beginning of the guide).

Now, the last step is to input the password in WinSCP.

The password is your CraftLands Panel password, so use that.

It's the one you chose when the account was setup.

After inserting the password, you'll find yourself at the core of WinSCP. It works by drag and dropping the files on the left side ( which are the ones on your device) to the right side (the server's files).
