What the price covers, how billing cycles work, and what happens if you pick the wrong size.

How much does the cheapest CraftLands game server cost?
CraftLands game server hosting starts at €10 per month for a 4 GB Minecraft server, recommended for around 12 players. The entry plan includes 3 threads of an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X, 100 GB of NVMe SSD storage, 2 backup slots, and always-on DDoS protection. Every game server is priced at the same flat rate of €2.50 per GB of RAM per month, so an 8 GB server is €20 per month and a 16 GB server is €40 per month.
How many servers share a node, and are the threads dedicated?
Every game server runs on a shared node, and the thread count on your plan is a ceiling rather than a reservation: a 4 GB plan can burst up to 3 threads of that node's Ryzen 9 9950X, but those cores are not held exclusively for you. That matters less than it sounds, because Minecraft and most other game loops are bound by single-thread speed rather than core count. What sets your tick rate is the 5.7 GHz clock of the thread doing the work, which is why we run the same top-of-the-benchmark Ryzen 9 9950X in all six locations instead of splitting a cheaper shared Xeon or EPYC further.
How often are backups taken, and how long are they kept?
Automatic backups run every six hours and are kept for up to three months. Recent restore points stay at the six-hour spacing, and older ones thin out to roughly one a day as they age, so you get a fine-grained window for a bad update this afternoon and a long tail for a world you broke weeks ago. The backup count on each plan is on top of automatic ones for free on any game server plan
How does CraftLands bill game servers?
CraftLands charges the full billing cycle at checkout, and you pick that cycle before you pay: monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. A 4 GB Minecraft server is €10 monthly, €30 quarterly, €57 semi-annually (5% off) or €108 annually (10% off). There are no setup fees, payment is by card through Stripe or by PayPal, and every game server plan is covered by a 3-day money-back guarantee.
