Everything a Modded Season Needs

A season that mixes mods and plugins puts pressure in three places at once: memory for the loader, single-core speed for the tick loop, and disk for a world that keeps growing all season.

Ryzen 9 9950X CPU

Mods add work to the same single-threaded tick loop, so clock speed is what keeps it inside the budget. Every plan is on the same 9950X boosting to 5.7 GHz.

Sized From the Modded Floor

The configurator starts at a 6 GB loader floor with 1 GB of plugin headroom, then adds 0.32 GB per player, rather than sizing the season like a plugin server.

NVMe Storage

A modded world generates more per chunk and a season keeps adding to it. NVMe keeps region file reads from queueing behind each other as people spread out.

Backups Every Six Hours

Automatic on a schedule, plus a manual snapshot in one click before a pack update. A bad update or a corrupted region file is a restore from the panel, not a ticket.

File Manager and SFTP

Mods, config folders and the world are all reachable, so a pack version bump or a single misbehaving mod is something you can get at directly.

Six Regions on 10 Gbps

Singapore, Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Amsterdam and Frankfurt, on a 10 Gbps line with DDoS filtering that is never switched off.

About WanderCraft Season 3

About WanderCraft Season 3

WanderCraft Season 3 runs mods and plugins together, which is the combination that makes sizing a server awkward. A mod loader costs memory before a single content mod is added, plugins add their own on top, and a season is long enough that the world grows underneath both of them.

The configurator below starts from the modded floor rather than the plugin one, so the plan it lands on has room for the loader, the pack and the people standing in the world at the same time. Everything else is the same on every tier: an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X, NVMe storage, a backup every six hours and full file access over SFTP.

Pick the region closest to the players and a player count. The configurator sizes the memory from the modded floor rather than the plugin one, so the plan is not sized to its bare minimum.

Frequently Asked Questions

What people arriving from a creator link ask first, answered before you spend anything.

What does the wcs code actually do?

It takes 30% off your first invoice, on any billing cycle, and it is already filled in when you arrive from this page. A 16 GB server is €40 a month at the standard rate, so the first month is €28 and it renews at €40. The discount applies once rather than to every renewal.

How much RAM does a mods-and-plugins server need?

More than a plugin server of the same player count, which is why the configurator here starts higher. It uses a 6 GB floor for the loader, 1 GB of headroom for plugins, then 0.32 GB per player, so twenty players land on 16 GB. Forge and NeoForge carry more overhead than Fabric before any content mod loads, so that floor is the conservative one of the two.

Can I run mods and plugins on the same server?

Yes, and it is worth knowing how. Paper runs plugins and no mods; Forge, NeoForge and Fabric run mods and no plugins. Running both at once means a hybrid server or a bridge mod, which you install through the file manager or pick at order. Both sides of that setup want memory, which is what the sizing above accounts for.

Can I move the season world across from somewhere else?

Yes. The world is a folder and it uploads through the file manager or over SFTP, alongside the mods and config folders it depends on. Bring the same pack version across with it, take a backup on arrival, and the season carries on where it stopped.

What happens when the pack updates mid-season?

Take a manual snapshot first, because a pack update is the change most likely to need undoing. Mod and loader files are reachable in the panel, so the update is a file swap and a restart rather than a rebuild, and a restore rolls the whole thing back if a mod does not survive the version bump.

What if the season outgrows its plan?

Move anywhere between 4 GB and 128 GB from the panel. The change is prorated to the day, the world folder stays where it is, and there is no migration or reinstall. Every tier runs the same CPU, so a bigger plan buys memory rather than a faster tick loop, which matters when a heavy mod is the thing eating the budget.

What does it cost after the first month?

A flat €2.50 per GB of RAM per month with no setup fee, so 12 GB is €30, 16 GB is €40 and 24 GB is €60. Backups, DDoS filtering, full file access and free databases are on every tier, and the first three days are covered by a money-back guarantee.

What happens if it goes down during a session?

Support is staffed 24/7 and the average reply lands in about 15 minutes, so a stuck process or a restore from a backup is a ticket away. Network availability carries a 99.9% yearly SLA credited at 5x the downtime, and CraftLands is rated 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot.
