How to Create a Split Server

What is a Split Server

A Split Server is a small server cut down from the main server that can run independently. It uses a piece of the main server's hardware but runs completely on its own.

How to Create a Split Server

To create a Split Server, you will have to open and login to your Server's web-panel.

  • The first thing you need to do is locate Server Splitter section on the siderbar and click on it.
Locate-server-split.webp

By doing that, a page will open where you can create split servers.

  • Now find the 'Create' button (which is on the top-right of your screen) and click on it.

Clicking it opens a window where you can set the split's name, description, RAM, CPU, storage, backups, and other settings.

  • Enter the details as you like and click Create button after scrolling down.

After clicking Create, the Split Server will be created.

Note

Please keep the following in mind before proceeding:

  • Creating a split server will use resources (RAM, CPU, and Disk) from your main server.
  • The new split server will be a fresh instance and will not copy any files or data from your main server.
  • It may take a few minutes for the split server to finish installing.

Keep in mind that different hosting providers might have slight panel differences, but the overall layout and structure is usually the same.
