About the Modpack

What Is an All the Mods 10 Server?

All the Mods 10 is the current flagship kitchen sink pack. Release 7.2 ships 478 mods on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.241, so the server runs on Java 21. Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Create, Modern Industrialization, Oritech, Ars Nouveau and Occultism all share one world, and an FTB Quests book threads them together so there is always a next objective waiting.

The spine is the Allthemodium ore chain. The ore glows in cave walls around Ancient Cities and anywhere in the Deep Dark. Four nuggets and an ender pearl make a Teleport Pad: drop it in the Overworld for the Mining Dimension, in the Nether for The Other, in the End for The Beyond. Vibranium needs an Allthemodium pickaxe, and Unobtainium hides in End Highlands behind a Vibranium one.

Everything funnels into the ATM Star, assembled in the Runic Star Altar from alloy ingots, star shards and an infused Patrick Star, with multiblocks such as the Runic Crucible and the Runic Enchanter feeding it. That is where the server cost comes from rather than headcount. A 478 mod registry is slow to load, and one group running Mekanism factories and AE2 autocrafting ticks thousands of block entities every second.

ATM10 fits a group that wants a months long project rather than a weekend. Split the work: one player on power, one on Applied Energistics, one on the ore chain. Pre-generate a few thousand blocks around spawn before the first session, since worldgen is where the tick budget goes. Warn your quarry crews too, because quarries in the Mining Dimension now break Allthemodium ore and void the drops.

12 GBToo tight

12 GB is the pack's floor with nobody online, so the first player already pushes past it. NeoForge and 478 mods will load, then the world stutters and eventually fails during a full save.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? Find answers to the most common queries about plans, setup, and managing your game server to help you launch quickly and enjoy smooth multiplayer gameplay.

How much RAM does an All the Mods 10 server need?

ATM10 wants 12 GB before anyone connects, so 16 GB is the normal choice and covers 20 players. Move to 24 GB, which covers 60 players, when the group is deep into Mekanism and Applied Energistics rather than simply when more people join.

Does ATM10 need NeoForge and Java 21?

Yes to both. Release 7.2 declares NeoForge 21.1.241 on Minecraft 1.21.1 in its manifest, so a plain Forge server will not load it, and that NeoForge line does not start on Java 17 or older. The loader and runtime have to be installed to match before first boot.

Why does our server lag when only a few people are online?

On ATM10 it is usually block entity ticks rather than memory. Mekanism factories and AE2 autocrafting keep running while their owners are offline, and extra dimensions such as The Other, Twilight Forest and Eternal Starlight stay loaded once someone anchors them. Check what is ticking before buying a bigger plan.

How do we reach the Mining Dimension?

Craft a Teleport Pad from four Allthemodium nuggets and an ender pearl, place it in the Overworld, then crouch and right click with both hands empty. It is the cheapest place to strip mine, but note that quarries there now break Allthemodium ore and destroy the drops, so keep them away from it.

Will our world survive an All the Mods 10 update?

Usually. ATM10 is still moving quickly, with release 7.2 landing in July 2026, and most updates load an existing world fine. A release can still drop or replace a mod, so back the world up before applying one and keep the previous copy until everyone has played on the new build.

Should we start on ATM10 or stay on ATM9?

Take ATM10 for the current pack and the mods that only exist there, such as Modern Industrialization, Oritech, Just Dire Things and Eternal Starlight. Stay on ATM9 if your group specifically wants Botania or the GregTech progression, since neither is part of the ATM10 mod list.

Start Your All the Mods 10 Server Today

Modded Minecraft ticks its world on a single thread, so clock speed does more for your All the Mods 10 server than extra cores ever will. Every plan runs an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X boosting to 5.7 GHz with DDR5 behind it, on a 10 Gbps line with DDoS filtering that stays on.
