What Is a Linggango Server?

Linggango is a Terraria-inspired RPG modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1. The latest release, V6.6.6hf from October 2026, runs Forge 47.4.20 on Java 17, and its manifest lists 455 CurseForge files.

You pick one of 18 classes and a difficulty built from 70+ modifiers, then fight through ten Keeper bosses that gate every gear, tech and magic tier, with 90+ more bosses on top. It has 5,839 hand-written quests in 139 chapters and Lithoform, a world generation overhaul made for the pack.

Load comes from the 90+ bosses, invasions such as the Blood Moon and the machines in the tech route. CurseForge asks players for 6 GB minimum and 8 GB recommended, and the manifest recommends 8192 MB.

How much RAM does a Linggango server need?

CurseForge gives 6 GB minimum and 8 GB recommended for players, and the manifest recommends 8192 MB. We start at 8 GB, which leaves nothing spare for players, so 12 GB is the size for about 20 players and 16 GB covers 40.

Which Minecraft version and loader does it use?

Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge 47.4.20 with release V6.6.6hf, which needs Java 17. Players need the same pack version in their launcher, and any mod you add must be a 1.20.1 Forge build.

How do the Keepers and acts work?

There are ten Keeper bosses across 11 acts, and each weapon, armour, tech and magic tier sits behind one. For example, the Iron Colossus opens Create's brass age, Immersive Engineering and Goety, while ores and storage are never locked.

What difficulty options does Linggango have?

CurseForge lists 70+ difficulty modifiers you stack yourself or set with a preset, and harder runs pay you back with real buffs. You also choose seven Curses, seven Virtues or no ring at all, and each ring changes how you play.
