What Is an FTB Evolution Server?

FTB Evolution is Feed the Beast's kitchen sink pack, release 1.45.1 from October 2026, running on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.250 and Java 21. Its manifest lists 530 CurseForge files. The world runs from level -128 to 384, with Terralith and Oh The Biomes We've Gone reshaping the terrain.

Technology goes from Mekanism's fusion reactors through Immersive Engineering, Extended Modern Industrialization, RFTools and Ender IO, with Advanced Applied Energistics for storage. Magic comes from Ars Nouveau, Occultism and Iron's Spells and Spellbooks, Mystical Agriculture and Productive Bees handle resources, and the Infinity Caves give you large cavern worlds to mine. The endgame is the FTB Pyramid, which leads to creative items.

With this many mods registered at boot, startup and restarts are slow on any hardware, and running machines add load on top. Keep restarts infrequent, pregenerate the area your group actually plays in, and take a backup before a one-click update, since the pack has been releasing every few weeks.

My server KuroKraft uses Craftlands hosting, great CPU great performance, but performance aside, a big thing is mrDadone … actually help a lot with running and setting up and giving advice on everything for the better. Network issues, plugin recommendations, server monitoring, they do it all. … The last thing they will do is push trying to get you to spend more on ram first if ur server is lagging because its 99.99% something else that is most likely the issue first before lack of memory or disk.
