What Is a Mystic's Monstrosity: Avaricious Edition Server?
Avaricious Edition is Mysticpasta1's largest kitchen sink pack, release 6.1.0 from August 2026, running on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.22 and Java 17. Its manifest lists 1,867 CurseForge mods. For scale, All the Mods 10 ships 478 and All the Mods 9 ships 432, so this is not a bigger version of a normal kitchen sink pack, it is a different order of magnitude.
It is the third entry in the line. The original Mystic's Monstrosity was a roughly 700 mod completion pack, Greedy Edition pushed that to 1,700 mods and shipped with no quest book at all, and Avaricious Edition adds one. FTB Quests here holds 419 chapters, one per mod, and roughly 19,000 quests between them, so the book reads as an index of what every mod adds rather than a single designed route. The pack even ships KubeJS recipes for quest items that no mod in the list could actually craft, and its endgame item, The Greedy Completion, gates creative tier crafts through Extended Crafting.
Nothing is left out on the way there. GregTech CEu Modern, Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage, Create, Thermal, Immersive Engineering, Industrial Foregoing, PneumaticCraft and Ender IO all share one world, alongside Ars Nouveau, Blood Magic, Occultism and Botania, with Draconic Evolution, Extended Crafting and Avaritia sitting at the top. Twilight Forest, Deep Aether, Ice and Fire, Cataclysm and Ad Astra then add the dimensions your group will scatter across.
On a server the cost starts before anyone plays. Every one of those 1,867 mods registers its blocks, items, recipes and tags at boot, which makes startup and every restart slow on any hardware, and the pack manifest asks the launcher for 25 GB. That is a client figure, and a server does not render anything, but it does hold the same registry plus every loaded chunk. Pre-generate spawn, keep view distance modest, and back up before a one-click update, since this pack is new and moving fast: 6.0.0 and 6.1.0 both landed on 3 August 2026.

How Much RAM Does a Mystic's Monstrosity: Avaricious Edition Server Need?
16 GB before anyone joins, then roughly 0.2 GB per player online.
The registry alone fills this before a player joins. Forge and 1,867 mods will load, then the first chunks and the first save push it over and the server spends its time collecting garbage instead of ticking.
Covers 20 players. The realistic starting size for this pack, with enough headroom for a group running machines at home while others are off in Twilight Forest or the Aether.
Covers 40 players. Worth it once the server has real automation running, since GregTech, Mekanism and AE2 all keep ticking whether or not their owner is online.
Sized from Mystic's Monstrosity: Avaricious Edition's 16 GB floor plus 0.2 GB per concurrent player. You can move between these tiers from the panel at any time, prorated to the day.
