Project Ozone 3: A New Way Forward is Team Ozone's third skyblock questing pack: 262 mods on Minecraft 1.12.2 behind a Better Questing book the authors count at roughly 1,197 entries including the reward system. Garden of Glass is the recommended world type, so your group starts on a bare island and sieves its way upward. Finished quests pay out RAK currency you bank and spend on loot chests when you choose.

The climb runs Ex Nihilo: Creatio sieving into Mystical Agriculture crops, then Tinkers Construct, Thermal Expansion and Mekanism, with NuclearCraft, Extreme Reactors, Draconic Evolution and Avaritia waiting at the end. Pack modes sit on top of that: the pack page lists Normal, Titan and Kappa, and the config also accepts mythic. Set S:packMode in config/packmode.cfg on client and server, or use /packmode, then restart both before anyone builds.

Age is what makes this pack expensive to host. Forge 14.23.5.2860 and 262 mods on 1.12.2 predate modern chunk and entity optimisations, so the registry claims a large heap before a single player connects and first boot is slow. Garden of Glass keeps worldgen cheap, which offsets some of that, but Ex Nihilo sieve banks, Bonsai Trees 3 farms and Woot mob factories pile item entities and block ticks into a handful of chunks.

Choose Project Ozone 3 if your group has already cleared a kitchen sink pack and wants a gated skyblock grind rather than an open world. Agree the pack mode before anyone joins, because switching later leaves people holding items whose recipes have moved. Put level-type=botania-skyblock in server.properties, keep sieve and mob farms clustered on a few chunks, and take a backup before every mode change or version bump.
