Modpack Ready

Everything Your Cobbleverse Server Needs

Cobbleverse ships no official server pack, so every plan arrives with that work already done before your first boot.

One-Click Modpack Install

Fabric and COBBLEVERSE 1.7.42 are installed and server-ready before first boot, with no official server pack to assemble yourself.

Ryzen 9 9950X CPU

Battles, wild spawns and raid dens tick on one thread, so clock speed decides them.

NVMe Storage

Parties, pastures and per-player PC boxes grow the save quickly. Free MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and Redis sit on the same disk.

DDoS Protection

Always-on filtering in all six locations, so raid night is never cut short.

Fabric, Forge & NeoForge

Cobbleverse runs Fabric on 1.21.1. Move to a Forge or NeoForge pack without rebuilding the server.

About the Modpack

What Is a Cobbleverse Server?

Cobbleverse turns Minecraft 1.21.1 into a Pokemon region. Built on Cobblemon 1.7.3 with Fabric loader 0.18.4, it advertises all 1025 species and all 93 Mega Evolutions in one world. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh arrive with custom gyms, animated Gym Leaders, badges, the Elite Four and Champions, plus villages holding working Pokemon Centers and Poke Marts. Minecraft mobs and hunger are disabled by default, so the loop is catching, training and battling.

You pick a starter, earn PokeDollars to spend at the Department Stores, and take official gym battles for badges and trophies while Radical Cobblemon Trainers keeps sending challengers. Legendary and Mythical altars carry their own summoning mechanics, Poke Radars and regional cartography tables point at gyms and rare spawns, and Distortion World, Nightmare and Origin add three dimensions. Shiny odds sit at 1 in 2048, and Shiny Rayquaza waits in the End.

Only 142 mods are listed, but the load is entity shaped. Every wild Pokemon, party member, pastured team and trainer NPC is a live entity, and a 1 to 7 star raid concentrates a pile of them in one chunk. Lithium, FerriteCore and C2ME carry the server side, while Sodium, MoreCulling and Entity Culling only help clients. Storage grows fast too, because each trainer can fill 1800 PC slots plus pastures.

Cobbleverse fits a group chasing a shared Pokedex rather than a build project, and younger players cope because survival pressure is off until mobs are switched back on. Note the licence before you plan anything commercial: custom structures, trainers and datapacks may not be used on a server with a paid shop. CraftLands preinstalls the Fabric build, and you pick the region your server runs in so battle turns stay responsive.

FAQ Quick Help

Frequently Asked Questions

Loaders, pack sources, memory and cost, answered for modded Minecraft specifically.

Which Minecraft and Cobblemon version does Cobbleverse use?

Build 1.7.42, published in July 2026, targets Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric loader 0.18.4 and is based on Cobblemon 1.7.3. Everyone joining needs the same pack version on a 1.21.1 Fabric client, because Cobblemon syncs species and battle data between client and server.

How much RAM does a Cobbleverse server need?

The pack page asks for 4 GB minimum and recommends 6 GB or more, and we size from 6 GB plus 0.2 GB per concurrent trainer. That puts 8 GB at 10 trainers, which is the sensible start, and 12 GB at 30 once several parties run raids and legendary hunts together.

Are Minecraft mobs and hunger really turned off?

Yes, both are disabled by default so nothing creeps up on your Poke Mart and nobody starves mid gym run. The pack ships an in game settings book for tweaking things, and full file access on your plan lets you re-enable classic survival across the whole server.

Do raids and Mega Evolution work with several players?

They do. The 1 to 7 star raid dens are designed for a team, and Mega Evolution, Terastallization, Dynamax, Gigantamax and Z-Moves all resolve server side. A full party plus a raid boss in one chunk is the heaviest moment the pack creates, so size your plan for that peak.

Why is the Cobbleverse download so large?

The 1.7.42 file is about 225 MB, and roughly 187 MB of that is resource packs with another 18 MB of shader packs, none of which a server ever loads. The actual mod list is 142 entries, so server startup is much lighter than the file size implies.

Can players find Legendaries on a shared server?

Yes. Legendary and Mythical Pokemon appear in the wild and at dedicated altars with custom summoning mechanics, and Shiny Rayquaza sits in the End behind the Ender Dragon. Regional cartography tables and Poke Radars give a group reason to split up rather than camp one spawn.

How often does Cobbleverse update, and do you follow the releases?

Cobbleverse moves in bursts: 1.7.40, 1.7.41 and 1.7.42 all shipped inside eleven days in July 2026. We follow the CurseForge and Modrinth releases and put each new build in the panel, so the version you deploy is the version your players already downloaded. Older builds stay in the panel if a release misbehaves.

Does updating Cobbleverse wipe my world and Pokedex progress?

Updating is one click. Take a backup from the panel first, every plan includes them, then apply the new build; your world, Pokedex progress, PC boxes and pastures carry across. Cobbleverse ships no official server pack, so doing the same by hand means Java 21, a fresh Fabric install and copying mods out of a client folder.

Can I sell ranks on a Cobbleverse server?

Cobbleverse is All Rights Reserved. Its custom structures, trainers and datapacks may not be used on a public server with a paid shop, and you may not advertise yours as a COBBLEVERSE Server; COBBLEVERSE Compatible is the wording the authors allow. If that rules out your plan, changing the pack in the panel switches the loader with it and keeps your world in backups.

Start Your Cobbleverse Server Today

Cobbleverse asks for 4 GB minimum and recommends 6 GB before anyone joins, and we size from 6 GB plus 0.2 GB per concurrent trainer. Battles, wild spawns and raid dens all tick on one thread, so every plan runs an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X at 5.7 GHz. Ask support for a free 24-hour trial before you pay.
