What Is an FTB Infinity Evolved Server?

FTB Infinity Evolved is the general all-purpose pack from the Feed the Beast team, designed for solo play and for small and medium population servers. The latest release, 3.1.0 from June 2019, runs Minecraft 1.7.10 on Forge 10.13.4.1614, and its manifest lists 132 CurseForge files.

The pack has two game modes, normal and expert, and quests are included. New and existing worlds start in normal; a server op switches with /ftb_mode set expert or /ftb_mode set normal, in game or from the console. Players who join are moved to the server's mode on login. The CurseForge page suggests a fresh world if you plan to play expert, because of the large progression changes.

Fastcraft is bundled for performance, and the page asks that bug reports to mod authors mention it. Nothing has updated since 2019, so there are no frequent releases to plan around; clients and any added mods must match 1.7.10 Forge.
