Everything Your Cobblemon Server Needs
Every plan ships the hardware a Cobblemon server actually leans on: spawn ticks, entity counts and Pokédex saves.
Cobblemon Official Modpack 1.7.3 on Fabric Loader 0.18.4 is installed before first boot, so nothing needs uploading.
Cobblemon 1.7.3 ships for Fabric and NeoForge on the same day. Swap loaders from the panel, no rebuild.
Support is people who run modded servers themselves. Ask about spawn tuning or the frozen 1.20.1 branch.
Public Pokémon servers get listed and draw attention. Filtering stays on through every battle.
Spawn attempts run every twenty ticks on one thread, so clock speed beats core count. Ours boosts to 5.7 GHz.
Parties and PC boxes flush to disk every thirty seconds. Free MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis included.
What Is a Cobblemon Server?
The Cobblemon Official Modpack is the Fabric build published by the Cobblemon team, currently 1.7.3 for Minecraft 1.21.1, with a 1.20.1 branch still available at 1.5.2. It wraps the Cobblemon mod in a list of sixty mods rather than reinventing it. You catch Pokémon in the overworld, battle them through the Pokémon Showdown engine, and fill in a Pokédex as you go, with over 700 Pokémon to catch.
The loop is catch, level, evolve, repeat, and the pack keeps it close to the handheld games. Moves unlock as Pokémon level, evolution triggers when you decide rather than automatically, and move relearning follows the Legends Arceus approach. Battles resolve on the Showdown engine so competitive damage math behaves properly, and free movement during battles is a toggle, so you can keep mining while your team fights. Berries cross-breed and fossils revive.
Cobblemon is unusually light for a pack this popular, because most of its mod list never touches the server. Sodium, ImmediatelyFast, LambDynamicLights, Falling Leaves and CIT Resewn are all client-side, leaving the server running Cobblemon, Fabric API and a short set of server-safe helpers like Lithium, Krypton, FerriteCore and Clumps. What does cost you is entity count, because every spawned Pokémon is a ticking mob with its own AI.
It fits mixed-age groups and friends who want something social rather than punishing, since trading and battling each other is the whole point and nobody has to learn a tech tree. Both the modpack and its server package connect to plain Cobblemon servers, so a friend can join with just Fabric API and the mod installed. Battles are turn-based, so pick the location closest to most of your players.

How Much RAM Does a Cobblemon Server Need?
4 GB before anyone joins, then roughly 0.2 GB per player online.
4 GB is the bare floor the pack needs to boot and leaves nothing for players, so it covers none of them. You get long garbage collection pauses as soon as wild Pokémon start spawning around anyone online.
Covers 10 players. Comfortable for a friend group catching, trading and battling without wild spawn entity counts pushing tick time up.
Covers up to 20 players. Worth the step when people explore far apart, since every loaded chunk brings its own set of ticking Pokémon with it.
Sized from Cobblemon's 4 GB floor plus 0.2 GB per concurrent player. You can move between these tiers from the panel at any time, prorated to the day.

From Checkout to Playing in Minutes
No FTP, no config files, no wiki tabs. Fabric, Cobblemon and its server-side mods are in place before you get an IP.
Pick one of six locations, a billing cycle and your player count. The configurator lands on 6 GB for ten players catching and battling together.
Payment clears and we install Fabric Loader 0.18.4, Minecraft 1.21.1 and Cobblemon Official Modpack 1.7.3, server side only, with the client-side mods left out.
Your IP is waiting in the panel the moment the build finishes. The first session is a starter, some first catches, then battling each other.
