What Is a DeceasedCraft Server?
DeceasedCraft drops you into a procedurally generated modern city built with The Lost Cities, where the buildings are worth looting and the streets are not safe. The current build is the 5.10.17 beta on Forge 1.20.1. Five hand-crafted districts run from Suburb Residential through Highrise Office, Highrise Residential and Highrise Hotel to the Retail District, holding over sixty custom buildings and more than 800 loot tables between them.
You scavenge with whatever you find, then move into a tech tree built on Create and Immersive Engineering that rewards automating almost everything. There are 100 or more weapons and guns, twenty-plus armor sets across four tiers of progression, and a custom skill tree over the top. Fifteen or more special zombie types are spread across the districts, hostile human NPCs come in three tiers, and each district runs at its own temperature.
The load profile is unusual. Instead of biome variety you get dense urban chunks where nearly every block is a placed structure, plus continuous spawner logic driving the hordes. Vanilla structure generation is switched off entirely and cities are tagged as biomes, which the team measures as roughly three times faster generation than the old 1.18.2 build. The 5.10 line also moved InControl scripts to EntityJS and tuned the spawner tick rate.
This suits groups who like looting runs, fortified bases and a clear enemy, and it rewards having someone who enjoys Create automation. Enable command blocks in server.properties or multiblocks and vehicle spawns will not fire, which is a one-line edit with full file access. Villagers are gone entirely in this line, replaced by quest NPCs, and the beta still ships without the Wasteland and Abyss districts.

How Much RAM Does a DeceasedCraft Server Need?
8 GB before anyone joins, then roughly 0.2 GB per player online.
8 GB matches the pack's own stated server minimum before anyone connects, so it covers zero players on our sizing. Expect it to crawl or crash the first time a horde wave spawns inside a highrise district.
Good for up to 20 players. The extra headroom keeps block-entity-dense city chunks and simultaneous horde waves from eating the whole tick budget.
Good for up to 40 players. Pick this when separate looting parties work different districts, since each active area loads its own buildings, loot tables and spawners.
Sized from DeceasedCraft's 8 GB floor plus 0.2 GB per concurrent player. You can move between these tiers from the panel at any time, prorated to the day.
